If Wales could kick they could talk about it. I think the official period of everone pretending that guy shouldnt have been sent off is over now, right? Textbook red.

On the other hand, the ref in the final was so damn awful I found myself cheering for france

Mr joubert was pretty average but After the abysmal treatment we've received in previous world cups, It was a nice change to get some calls our way. it's also always been the home team gets the calls in every world cup.

Considering how few points were scored, I really enjoyed the game!

I had a jolly fun time watching that game, everything being on a knife edge, one little mistake and france get a penalty to kick for the win.

Of course NZ should really have put themselves 13 pts clear in the first half had they been able to hit a kick or two.

NZ tried pretty hard to self destruct for a while.  Just give the ball to your no 10 and let him kick for position, stop with the stupid box kick when France are claming the ball really well.

I don't know... There was just soo much aimless kicking down the middle of the park by every team. I'm nor sure why it's so hard to put it in the corner?

The kicking was shocking by virtually everyone. I know there were some gripes about the ball and it could be there is something in that but at the level these guys pay at, having trained with the balls used in matches, its not a good excuse.

Oh I still think the welsh were hard done by to get the red card but the french were more likely to test NZ as the tight five are better.
