My best 5 would be -

1. Godfather
2. You Have Got Mail

You don't often see those 2 movies together

Oh man I only just noticed this thread! There's too many good films and bad films to list so I sorta picked a few....but here goes:

Good Times:

1. Donnie Darko/The Station Agent/Clerks 1,2/Chasing Amy
2. Heat/Godfather/The Departed
3. Toy Story 1,2,3/UP/Spirited Away/My Neighbour Totoro
4. Reservoir Dogs/Wolf of Wall Street
5. Zombieland/Social Network/Superbad

Bad Times:

1. Any of the Transformers films made by Michael Bay
2. Xmen: Wolverine
3. Spiderman 3
4. Jersey Girl
5. Any film made by Tyler Perry

The bad ones were a lot harder than I thought because I've seen tons of terribad films but not soooooo bad that they would be on a Top 5 list or films that are known to be utter dross that I just won't watch.

You have very much cheated on the good films. Rectify this. You can't answer top five films with 15 films - sort it out brah.

Superbad??????

Really Jack?

I had to turn that film off after about an hour, one of the worst so called 'comedies' I have been put through, not a single laugh and started off a slew of the awful Seth Rogan/ Judd  Apatow movies...

Angelus Mortifer

-Urgh- changes everyday... but for today we'll say:

Top 5

- Anchorman
- Enter the Dragon
- Where Eagles Dare
- Matrix (all 3)
- 300

(Mentions: 13th Warrior, Snatch, Raider of the Lost Ark, Jaws, Miller's Crossing, Smokey and the Bandit, Saving Private Ryan, 39 Steps, Sherlock Holmes (both), Ferris Beuller's Day Off, Waterloo, LotR RotK, Last Samurai (lol, I know), Bugsy Malone, The Sting, Man on Fire, Clue, Michael Clayton, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas... I should stop now)

Worst 5

- Grease (any and all of them)
- Mermaids (whyyyy make me sit through that!!)
- Spider Man (any of them from and after Toby Maquire -bleh-)
- Star Wars, Phantom Menace (lots of cool, but lots of utter shite)
- On Her Majesty's Secret Service (George... just no)

Not enough minutes left in my life to list the other shite films I've seen...
"Sanguinius. It should have been him. He has the vision and strength to take us to victory, and wisdom to rule once victory is won. For all his aloof coolness, he alone has the Emperor's soul in his blood. Each of us carries part of our father - Sanguinius holds it all." Horus

Superbad!

Those kind of films appeal to me, I can understand why people don't like them though, come on though you've got Notting Hill in your top 5!

Also what about Saving Private Ryan, Captain Phillips and Toy Story ALL great Tom Hanks films, admittedly there's plenty of dross but I can forgive him.

Comedies also appeal to me, it's my favourite genre, Superbad was not funny, it depressed the hell out of me, a bit like the 2nd Jump Street movie, which was woeful compared to the first...

Notting hill appeal to the old romantic in me, and Rhyss Evans steals the movie, I know it's cheese, but it's harmless....

300 is appearing in top fives but no sight of John Carpenters's The Thing. That makes me sad.
