@ Erik - I know what you're saying, mine was a tongue in cheek observation, mainly about the 'I could have taken worse' crowd rather than a snipe at DoC/DE per se. I don't mind as such that they are strong books, I just think it's worth poking people with sticks when they try to claim otherwise.

Do agree with Mike, but the endless complaints are.....well, endless. Thats the way of things in this game - if it's not one army/build/unit, it's another.

Any other ideas for good 8th ED rules changes...?

True LOS for scenery (end those debates about whether a ruins is a wood etc?)

Better building rules, get them seen more in tournies....

I know this is a radical idea, but with all basing being metric and the rest of the rules being imperial, the 8th ed magic also goes metric causing a suitably chaotic system.

But the deployment distances stay the same :-) What's that Teclis? You can only cast 24cm?? Come closer....

Randomise Shots between Cavalry and riders (if Any). If horse is wounded replace with foot troop :-)
