Feb 28/Mar 1 Weekend - 2400pts 5 Game Tournament

I'm in two minds - no comp battleline may suck ...but Dark Sphere's easy to get to and my last London tournament was ace, so I'm tempted to go.  Any other OGgers fancy it?

If I do go for it, it will be with my Mousillon themed Bretts who are (incredibly slowly) coming together.

I think it depends on how 'optimised' the opponents will be.  Or, in my case, how 'optimised' those on the bottom tables are!

Running Bretts into gun lines would not be fun.  Or, sadly, into most WoC lists.  Or Daemons.  Or any flavour of Elf.  Hmm.  Bretts may not be the stealth filth after all...

Knights are cool and the lance formation ruins infantry. Having a sackful of characters to ward up cannons also helps

28th March/1st Feb? Is that a two-month gap to let you reflect on just how badly you tanked on the first day?

After getting utterly thrashed at London's Calling and Downfall I'm not sure if I'd look forward to a zero-comp event... but if there was a significant OG presence I could show up with double Carnosaur and join you on the bottom tables. Coming round to the point of view that it's more fun to play a fluff list than to try being (semi-)competitive in the WoC/Daemons/Elves meta.

Main problem for me is that that is massively close to my viva date so I would be super flakey up to the last minute, and they probably want cash up front.

There is some stuff on the thread about it clashing with something in Cardiff. Will it make any real difference?
