Personally I wouldn't worry too much about fluff being silly - entertainment > grim dark and all that. I've never actually quite settled with Fantasy echoing the po-facedness of 40k anyway, especially when we're dealing with Chaos.

Mighty Pip might have other ideas, of course. But maybe we'll just have him as the straight man... Lizard... Frog... Whatever.
