So I am looking for any of the token cards, mainly for Red Goblins and White Soldiers, also any Black Zombies..

Also really want the rare land card Dragonskull summitt...

Will have plenty to swap with, as me and JD have both got fat packs and deck builder boxes, so plenty to swap...

Tom, may I recommend the deck builders set, 285 cards with some extra stuff for £16, gives you plenty to go on, and then cards to swap..

Search only.  At least thats what the iPad game does!!

That's what I thought, a few players said otherwise..
Too me then it's a pretty crap land, I think you are far better off having the actual lands you need in your deck rather than waste four cards

Fact is.... if a card adds mana it says so!!!

I can see how its useful in a mixed mana deck.  If you have a hand full of swamps and need a Plains but only have 7 in your deck.... increases your chances of getting it out.

Granted... you could just put in 4 more plains.... but it allows you the choice of land type!

much better options in my opinion, anyway I'm glad to sort it out as there was a bit of confusion, I suspected it did it generate from the start, but was convinced by some current players, I have not played  in about 10 years..

Back in it big time now tough. Fully magic addicted again....
Plus I have alway loved magic multiplayer games, back before the club, me and Ritchie used to meet up for 6-10 player games every Tuesday night, they were great fun...

Hi guys.

Firstly, Ol, I have many Zombie tokens and a single Dragonskull summit for trade. I am after a slumbering Dragon but I think the trade would be in my favour then. Otherwise we can chat at Warlords.

Evolving Wilds is a great card, it lets you go hunting for the exact colour of mana you need, granted it puts you a turn behind, but the only things better are dual lands currently in M13 / Standard.

It also helps to thin your deck, decreasing the chance that you will draw land when you don't need it, as you will remove another land card from your deck and put it on the battlefield.

In most 2 colour decks, the dual lands are better, but you can also have four of those. I have four of them in a black / white exalted deck and find them very useful.

Right, Sai is planning to run a side event, mini tournament kind of thing, with some boosters as prizes.

I have suggested to make it two headed giant, so we can have teams and make it a bit more sociable. 1v1v1v1 takes AGES.

Ideally I think we need at least 8 players. Do we know who from OG is going to be playing magic in the event?

Thinking probably start around 8.30pm?

Do you just have the green and red event decks? Would I need any boosters or would the event deck on its own be perfectly suitable for this?

We have 4 of the intro decks from M13(the black and white one is sold out)
and all 5 from Avacyn (the block before), all these cards are legal and have some great combos in....

The event decks are a bit more advanced, leave them for now IMO

Pick an intro deck and the deck builders set (which are great value) and you should be good to go , then boosters when you know what deck you want to develop, and then swap the ones you dont want....

At the Warlords GT I will have a box of Commons from M12/M13 and Innistrad block which will be free for people to raid through if they want to add some cards to their sets. Nothing amazing in there, but might be useful to someone.

Winning.  I will be raiding the treasure trove. :-)

Debating whether to bring any of my back-log to Warlords, but they're predominantly Mirrodin block with a load from the M10 and M11 deck-builder's kits, so I doubt they're much use to anyone.

EDIT: What's the crack with the Warlords side-event, by the way?  Is there a thread somewhere?

There is a thread on TWF, last count I think we had 14 players, need 16 for full teams event.
