So, you are only allowed on the GW Website if you allow them AND "carefully selected" 3rd party to install information on your computer

after a quick browse on Dakka, the 3rd party seems to be:

Quantcast Data Analytics, Google Analytics, and SaleCycle Pixel Capture.

Quantcast Data Analytics is not currently gathering information, but they do have cookies simply because they might use them at some point in the future.

Google Analytics logs you, as an anonymous user, and it basically tracks which pages you have visited, your general geographic locale, and how long you've interacted with GW's website.

SaleCycle Pixel Capture is not an actual cookie, but it passes data to SaleCycle who store data on GW's behalf about "order abandonment".
