Been knocking out a few more 'essentials' for my O&G army.

Two mangler squigs, still painting the crew to add on the top of these but good enough to see the table as is.


Two fanatics, I'd only ever painted one of these before because the rest I'd picked up off trades all had the ball snapped off the chain so I finally got round to attaching some lumps of greenstuff to the end to complete the figs again then slapped on a quick paintjob.

Love them!! Have some broken Fanatics myself, never thought of just adding a big ball of green stuff to them!! Genius (or I am stupid - hard to tell!)

So having started on the grail knights I then got distracted again...  Back to the TK, this one is partly driven by need as I'm planning on taking my TK to the Tempest event at Stockport on 25-26 May and I wanted to include my Ushabti and then saw that they were 'chosen men' under the comp pack.  Chosen men allows you to upgrade the command options for free, so I get 30pts for nothing!  Most people don't even realise that Ushabti can get command let alone full command and only this morning I discovered they can even be armed wth an extra hand weapon rather than GW or Bows, who knew!  Sadly Tempest has a 400pts unit cap so I can only run 8 of them:

But I did paint up 9 of my 13 anyway just because the unit looks nicer that way.

Only a quick paintjob in line with the rest of my TK stuff, but think I might go back and touch them up a little further as it's a nice looking unit.

Love these. Where's the banner from? Always good to know where I can pluck a good banner from.

Black orc kit, the rest of the kit isn't that spectacular as not a lot of diversity and would be difficult to mix with other kits but that banner top is fantastic.  I'm pretty sure you get 2 per box of 10 black orcs as I've one on my Orc BSB and had this one in my bits box and I've only ever bought 1 box of black orcs.

Ahhh cool, might have to look at that - it looks nearly as big as the Minotaur one!

I've started working on some daemons, which will probably be my next army after the Brets, though it may be HE or wozzas as I've got schemes planned for all 3!



Plan on doing plenty if blood and gore across the army.

Also knocked out a quick tester for how I want to do my HE. Still not quite hit the look I'm after but will basically follow this.
