Winter solstice

Please don't ask why, but I was very bored and had a quick look through the OG Games calander.
Did you know the winter solstice is listed as the 22nd of december? And infact it chages every year?
I was under the impression it was the 21st?
Clearly my education has failed me again!

(plus, is it wrong that I had to check how old I was going to be by looking, and infact had to check to see how old I currently am?!)
