Right on the first off Hi all, just got a Samsung ACE with a good cam so going to start putting up projects that im doing, 1st of i got a few snaps of the Tryinids that im doing only painted 2 Gaunts as of yet due to working out what scheme to do plus i now need a can of white paint so progress is going slow.

Skull White Base coat
Black wash all over (leave to dry for a while.......)
More skull white on the main body leaving the joints black
Rotting Flesh for the claws and nails
Scab red for the plating (bigger modles will have more extravagant patterns )
Tongue is going to be yellow need a smaller better brush (hay more money for OL)
eyes undecided plus same problem as the Tongue
Still unsure what type of bases to do any suggestions i would love to here them.
got another 3 Warriors and 16 Genestealers and another 10 in the post from e-bay which i still got to paint (hopefully they will turn up tomorrow)
Next we have the Skaven Screaming bell with a rat ogre and the dreaded Grey Seer, this has taken me a week in a few hour stretches to get done and i think it kinda good you might be lucky enough to play against it awesomeness down the club. The Wood was very hard to do but once that was done it was pretty straight forward.

but you can never have enough clanrats/slaves in your army minimum you need is about 150 of the little buggers i think im close to 200 but cant count it at the moment as my army is not with me plus fillers HEHE.

As i left my army at the club plus low well rather out of spray to finish my other projects expect some stuff up by this weekend, 20 clan rats to do think i might have these ones white like the stormvirmin just to have lots of rainbow rats so they ant the same boring same color.
Plus the mighty Lee is handing over some Gutter runners not quite sure what to paint them, dont want to go with the norm black/green, might try orange and see how one goes, even if it is a cock up ill post the result up so you can all have a bubble bath with it.
This weekend turns out to be pretty crappy but on the plus note i finally got my 50% off bus a tram travel dont think ill be using the tram as it only goes from Wimboldon to Croydon and beyond kinda silly if you ask me, but iv just been to the post office to get my photo card which looks terrible you can all have a laff at it down the club if you want, but i have to go to a underground office to get it activated and there isnt one in Streatham so looks like im walking to Tooting to get it activated then topping up the £2 which is all i got till tomorrow and then heading to the club. On another note i painted a Tryinid Warrior as the same color scheme as the gaunts looks kinda good but i think there a but to much of a build up of paint think it been repainted about 4 times but it not a worry it just a warrior. pic up tomorrow to much to do to day plus get ready to face the Khornage of the receding Palmer.
Well after the excitement of last night down the club and the supply of white spray paint i took it upon my self to start the laborious task at undercoating and washing with devlan mud the 25 geanstealers and the few gaunts i had left. plus the 7 gutter runners i acquired from Lee.

They look pretty cool though, I do like the Nids models though, mostly because of the Aliens rip off similarities, they're on my list of things to investigate if I ever get rich enough/have enough spare time to do another new game/project

went to GW yesterday and brought a few new models got Queek to convert to a warlord with HW and shield,
also got a WOC sorcerer to convert on to a disk any ony know what size base it goes on. Plus i got archaon which is a verry nice model but as most comp dont allow SP im going to use him as a Lord on mount :)

With a flash of light and a thunderous crash the Ironwolf Battle barge exits from the eye of terror after 10,000 standard years of following Abaddon the Despoiler and his foul traitorous renegades from the battle field of Terra. "What is our location" snarled Wolf Lord Bulveye "unknown, we have no star maps the warp could of spat us anywhere" said the navigator with hint of fear in his voice. Bulveye voice filled the room again "mark our location, scan for any ships and be on stand by the Chaos could of followed us here" the imperial crew and servitors scurried around with Bulveye last command as he left the bridge.
He had turned on his vox to summon rune priest Torvald, chief lieutenant Halvdan Bale-eye and Dagmar, to his chambers to discuss a plan of action. All three Space Wolves Astartes entred the room and stood tall and proud in there gleaming white mark V power armour with dark grey trim and burning gold aquila on there breast plate, it was far different from the rest of the legions grey power armour there change came from the years of battling chaos space marines in the eye of terror where reinforcements and supply's where non, they striped there cut down foes and took what was still functioning and not tainted by the warp. Bulveye had commanded his force to wear the new white power armour as they where the light in the darkness, to strike fear in to there foes, there where a small number of captains that still bore resemblance of there legion only until it was damaged beyond repair from the armours aboard the Ironwolf. While the Astartes spoke about the coming war and there part to play in it while not being spotted and reported back to the imperium as of fears they might be classed as traitors and hunted by the other legions and bringing shame on the Space Wolves legion and staining the honour of the lost primarch Leman Russ.
Over the vox channel came a report to Wolf Lord Bulveye that there location in space was known and also there was a ship bearing the three skull icon, which was known to Bulveye as the Lord of decay "traitorous filth" he muttered under his breath, "sound the alarms we are for the hunt again, full speed ahead how many ships? make weapons ready and boarding decks ready for Astartes to depart" he nodded to his fellow kin with in his chamber not having to command them they left to prepare for battle. As they had been battling the Chaos for so many years these Astartes of the 13th company did not have to communicate to each other during times of war just focus on the Hunt to come and the cleanse the galaxy of taint.
Bulveye was on the bridge of the Ironwolf, on the holo screen display lay the ships on which they where to intercept and clean of the taint of the warp, three medium sized battle ships tainted and with the icon's of whom they follow Nurgle. And three smaller sized imperial cargo ships in toe with no signs of life, maybe Bulveye thought to him self the crew where slaughtered or in status unaware of the pearls they were in or even far worse tainted by chaos and will be cleansed but his warriors. As the Iromwolf prepared boarding capsules and bringing there enormous guns targeting the fleet that lay upon them lascannons, missile pods and other weapon battery's aimes and ready to fire, as the Ironwolf came in to firing range two of the nurgle ships changed course to intercept the Space wolf vessel which was massive compared to the smaller tainted ships that approached to spread there disease and decay. With a wave of Bulveye hand the crew had activated there shields and targeted the incoming ships with there weapons, Astartes on the lower decks rushed around arming them selves while Torvald watched as each individual squad ranked up into step towards there boarding torpedoes. It was not the space wolves way to annihilate there enemy with fire rather bring the fight to the enemy who ever they be to there door, The 6th squad of the space wolves the Wulfen with there uncanny mutations towards wolvenhood due to the gene-seed cures where running a mock in the decks below brimming with fury at the battle to come tasting the blood of the victims yet to lay waist to the frost axes/swords Halvdan chuckled to himself as the frenzy his brothers showed just before battle.
Bulveye tingled with excitement of the battle yet to come "fire at all ships disable there weapons and engines LET US TAKE THE BATTLE TO THEM" as soon as the command was issued the ironwolf stuck a fury of which made Bulveye eyes glow wild, all the ships where disabled reported the imperial captain "excellent keep us with in vox range and prepare to launch boarding party's" Bulveye turned and left them to it he wanted to see the enemy with his own eyes, rallying his Honour guard to his side all wearing terminator armour the only surviving suites left to the company. Johann Bulveye housecarl was waiting at the door to the torpedo bays with a gleaming frozen looking sword double the housecarl in height. Johann was an unaugmented Fenrisian a wiry, older man who wore the dark grey tunic of a Legion bondsman how he survived in the eye of terror was beyond him but nether the less he did. "Kill them all for Russ" he said as Bulveye and his honour guard accompanied with 4 Fenrisian wolves entered the torpedo and Bulveye giving his housecarl a nod.

Forty white and crimson red streaks fired from Ironwolf, as they flew through space all Astartes were locked in to place within there torpedo's red sirens flashed and a count down clock ticked down to the moment of impact, some of the Astartes only thought of this as a countdown to the kill to come. There was a huge crash and they tore through the hulls of the the infected ships bolts banged as the hatch flew open allowing the crazy frenzied Astartes lose. The worse of the carnage was on the 2nd ship where the 6th squad Wulfen thirty two in total went wild frost weapons rising and falling and the sound of bolter's hitting home every strike and impact dropping the foe in to a heap on the floor, there enemy was a mixture of rotting imperial solders, plague marines formally know as death guard and hulks of mindless plague bearing daemonic beings but the space wolfs did not fear this foe with the horror that had first struck them as they where accustom to the foul stench and grotesque of there mutated flesh from the years spent in the eye of terror.
Bulveye stepped of his landing torpedo and meet his first foe with one sweep from his powered frost blade they fell, his terminator guard and wolves departed and went on a rampage through out the ship meeting up with other boarding squads, with only brief messages over the vox battle channel. Bulveye contacted the Ironwolf and asked for a status update from the three untouched imperial ships "nothing to report my lord they are still lifeless" spoke the vox officer. Torvald taped in to his vox reporting to Bulveye "there seems to be a psychic disturbance coming from the command bridge sir, I would proceed with caution" "thank you, what's your status" commanded Bulveye "ship is cleared of all taint I have just requested stormbird pick up to explore the empty imperial ships" Bulveye chuckled "that was quick proceed and report back" there was no reply there wasn't any need for it some protocol had been disregarded to speed up processes and to keep the Astartes focused on the task at hand.
Bulveye was reaching the command bridge the smell of rotting flesh and humming insects being crushed underfoot of the twelve terminators only two had perished during the combat, The captain on the honour guard had switched on his vox and called for the closest squad to there position to go reclaim thunder-hammers and storm shields from the fallen, this was the way of the 13th company not to leave anything behind. The closer they got to the command deck the more plague bearers materialised from the wall and floor most didn't manage to make it to full form terminator's and wolves cut them down and tore them to shreds, finally the command doors stood in front of them under the corruption they were grey with a name imprinted on them Bulveye tried to rubbed the slime and growth and made out the words Undying this was one of the ships under the command of the death guard, with one kick he smashed open the doors revealing the horror which stood before him, man things joined to the control panels with rotting flesh and rusty cables, he saw no commander but knew there must be one as his rune priest had warned of some psych aboard. And from the shadows it rose up as tall as a primarch and just as wide Bulveye thought back to his own primarch Russ the last time they saw the magnificent man was when he ordered to give chase to Abaddon, he shook the notion from his head and focused on the task at hand killing this tainted warp thing.
"You shall not take my offerings to the great lord of corruption and decay, your years of crusades in the eye of terror are futile and will all be for nothing there is no glory here only your death Bulveye" as the creature took form Bulveye shouted "how do you know of my years trapped in the eye and of my name foul beast" it replied "your disruption with in the eye are well known, but you will fall here by my hand and I will be gifted with the prize of eternal deamonhood for claiming your soul" Bulveye looked around the room seeing his terminators dispatching the few man things that occupied the room and then train there weapons towards the bulky puss ridden thing in the centre of the room. Bulveye howled and flung himself at the mass, it spewed out a dark green bile Bulveye dodging it only a few terminators were hit and two of them melting in to a heap in the floor blending in to the corruption that lay everywhere, he rolled to it side scrambling to his feet his sword rose and fell tearing a huge chunk out of the thing the wound froze open it was unable to close it, shrieking in pain it turned to the Wolf lord swinging it huge arm to hit him it was quick for it size but that didn't phase Bulveye as he dodged and swung at the arm detaching it from the bulk and unloading a clip from combi-bolter. The terminators charged with thunder-hammers crackling with blue electric and hitting home, one was caught in the mass and dragged towards the bulking monster Bulveye managed to cut him free and commanded the guard to stand clear, his fenrisian wolves attacked but succumbed to more bile the monster let rip, Bulveye glanced at the wolves dying howls Bulveye took more swings at the monster freezing each wound as they hit home, the bulk turned grabbing his frost sword freezing where he grabbed it and threw the Astartes across the room releasing his grip on his sword but managing to load another clip into his combi-bolter. Bulveye unloaded another clip into the bulk while rolling around the monster and throwing a few grenades in to the open wounds.
All three grenades went of with a huge bang tearing in to the monster in to multiple parts Bulveye stood over the parts which still moved and twitched trying to come back together, "your end is here traitorous filth" and in that second he grabbed his sword flicked on his flamer and burned the remains. "move out our work is done" Bulveye said to his guard then his vox flickered again it was Torvald "sir I am aboard the imperial ship crew are in status and well you have to come see for your self"
"Ill be there as soon as I can" then hailing the Ironwolf for a stormbird to collect him and asking for the status on the other Astartes on the other ships " your stormbird is on approach and there have been small casualties from the other squads but all traitorous xeno have been neutralised" "very good" he replied turning and making his way to the boarding decks awaiting his ship.

Bulveye and the rest of his honour guard waited with a hint of frustration as there foes had been slaughtered and there battle for now was over, The vox came alive with the voice of Ranulf one of Bulveye's pack-mates and his personal stormbird pilot signing his approach. With in moments they were strapped in and en-route to Torvald location, Torvald signalled to his brothers aboard the ship "arrival of lord Bulveye imitate, secure the deck and stand ready, we have not explored this ship fully and we have no idea if there are xeno aboard" his warriors spread out standing guard at all door ways ready for there lords arrival and the possibility of a fight. The gleaming white of the lead stormbird only 3 ships in total as others had gone to search the other vessels. Bulveye stepped of his bird waving a hand to his trusted pilot as I sign of respect, turning to Torvald "report" in a soft tone "There are 2,311 imperial solders aboard all in status, no sign of any taint or traitors" "very good but what was so important that you summoned me" replied Bulveye, Torvald had his suspicions about the circumstances that would have had to accrue to allow the plague marines to acquired these vessel's, what battle had they come from what legion or regiment they were on there way to, all these questions bothered Torvald but he shook it from his mind. " Sir we have no idea on the origins of the ships, records have been wiped clean and the markings on which echo through the ship's are not on our database, I have dispatched our warriors to search the ships and report there findings" "and there result" "all the same my lord imperial solders and crew all in status and loading bays full of equipment" Bulveye eyes glowed "equipment show me" and with a wave of his hand one of Torvald warrior loaded up a holo screen with the inventory of the ships cargo, Bulveye scrolled down the list and let out a laugh on the screen before him lay ammunition, ships (stormbirds and thunder hawks) an array of tanks new patterns of which they did not recognise but knew the older models with one tank standing out from the rest twelve The Leman Russ named after the primarch of the space wolves Bulveye wondered to himself why there was a tank named after the primarch and what must of become of him.
All squads had reported in to the Ironwolf where Bulveye and Tarvald now where with in the command bridge, "ships are clean of xeno and taint just imperial crew and supplies are aboard" "secure the status capsules and prepare to release the crew be weary of rebellion they will not of been expecting us, this will be a huge sock to them to lay eyes upon us, and escort them to stormbirds and return to the ironwolf" Bulveye left the bridge returning to his command room with Tarvald and the ironwolf imperial captain in tow. "We cannot return to the imperium, we have to make our own way in the galaxy in the name of the Emperor of Mankind, we will have the imperial crew man the ships on our behalf and search for a new home to rest for the countless years spent in the eye of terror, rebuild and rearm the company and then clean the galaxy of the chaos and xeno" Tarvald interrupted "what if the imperial crew refuse" "that's why we have the good captain with us, you will be the avatar on which you will relay my orders through and quench and rumours and disbelief among the men and women" the captain saluted and left the room leaving the two Astartes. "Tarvald I have a important mission for you my friend, you are to meet with the apothecaries to ready gene seeds for implantation and search through the new imperial solders and find any which are fit to become astartes for the coming war"
Tarvald nodded his head "very well my lord I will have my selection list ready with in a month" turning and leaving the wolf lord alone with his thoughts.

I have to say when you were explaining the rune priest to me on saturday I didn't quite get it. Now I do and I really like what you've done here :-)
I don't think I've ever painted white and don't think I ever want to! Congrats on sticking with it and getting a good look going.
